Each teacher at Salt Spa adds their own unique flare and personality to every class they lead. Classes are modifiable and accessible to multiple levels of practitioners.
This class includes movement and shorter holds in a blending of traditional asanas and modern postures. The physical practice is combined with grounding and pranayama elements and will allow the opportunity for a breath-to-movement awareness that will deepen the connection of the mind and body.
Power classes will be set to challenge you to push yourself further mentally and physically. They are often faster-paced, sweat-inducing, and crafted to target multiple muscle groups while you move through a well-planned build of asanas as you breathe.
Yin is a contemplative practice involving passive holds of postures for 2-5 minutes focusing on the connective tissues (ligaments, joints, bones, fascia) of the body to increase circulation and flexibility rather than highlighting muscle engagement.
VIN TO YIN
A 50/50 (ish) mixture of our Vinyasa class and our Yin class.
This class will have longer holds of grounding asanas with the goal of total relaxation. Props are heavily encouraged to make the asanas being held feel supportive, alleviating stress of the body and mind.
Like our Vinyasa class, but with the goal of helping you wake up and start your day in the best way.
This is an energizing class that has a base of Power Yoga in addition to HIIT and Sculpt methods. Expect to sweat, have fun, and target multiple muscle groups.
